The 2013 Global Leadership Summit was a great success with increased attendance and focused delegates. With more than 40 breakout sessions in the tracks of Sourcing, Outsourcing, Governance and Leadership, the event brought valuable, useful and quality content to Summit attendees.

The Nearshore Executive Alliance closed the event by presenting 2 Nearshore Forums to a very engaged audience who provided great feedback and excellent reviews.

The first session featured Steve Rudderham, Global Lead for F&A Product Offering at Accenture and Rebeca Hassan, Executive Director at Nearshore Executive Alliance as they provided the audience a current view of the Latin American Outsourcing Markets. The presentation included an overview of the evolution of the global sourcing markets and the hot destinations for IT/BPO work currently in Latin America.

Session 2, which got a perfect score from the attendees, was a panel discussion moderated by Mike Barrett, CEO of Unosquare and Vice Chairman of the NEA, Alejandro Camino, VP of Marketing and Communications at Sofftek, Cesar D’Onofrio, CEO of Making Sense, and Javier Chamorro, Executive Director of ProNicaragua. The discussion was focused on the critical factors that are driving IT/BPO investment growth in each one of the countries represented.

The next SIG Global Sourcing Summit will take place April 1-3, 2014 in Nashville, TN. Stay tuned for more information!
