The SIG Global Sourcing Summit in Nashville was a great success. A three-day event packed with the latest best practices, innovative processes, and risk-mitigation approaches was attended by over 350 executives. SIG members are senior-level executives at Fortune and Global 1000 companies.
The Nearshore Executive Alliance was there to host a session titled: “Agile Development: Why Nearshore Does it Better”. Through its member companies, the NEA provided an overview of the Agile development methodology to then elaborate on the advantages of implementing this approach using a Nearshore delivery model.
The panel was moderated by Anurag Kumar, CEO of iTexico, featured Bruno Guicardi (President North America, Ci&T) and Tim Montgomery (President, TIMIT Solutions). Attendees asked many questions of our panel, demonstrating the relevance of this topic to today’s outsourcing decision makers.
The value proposition of Nearshore was presented with specific examples of how cultural affinity and creativity can translate into a problem solving mentality; similar time zone into visibility; and responsiveness and geographical proximity into cost reduction and better time-to-market.
We can’t wait for the Fall Global Leadership Summit in October. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Until then, enjoy the pictures!
